Do you require a minimum number of guests to cater an event?
Yes, we require a minimum of 100 guests to cater an event. Any events under 100 guests, will incur an additional fee.
Do you have any more “Taste Tests” scheduled?
Yes, there is an annual “Taste Test” in March. The Taste of Heaven 2026 Taste Test event will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026. We may be able to make special arrangements, so please call at (517) 983-4019. R.S.V.P. is necessary to attend this event.
Do you charge a Staffing Fee?
Yes, we do charge a staffing fee based on the amount of guests. We include a staff fee to cover our trained staff to prepare, transport, set up, serve and clean up your event. This ensures your event and food service runs smoothly and at a high standard from start to finish.
The pricing is as follows as a flat rate: • 100-150 guests – $250 • 150-200 guests – $300 • 200-250 guests – $350 • 250-350 guests – $400
Will you cater an outdoor venue?
Yes, we have trained staff to service a venue outdoors for an additional fee.
Will you serve a sit-down dinner?
Yes, we have trained staff to service a sit-down dinner for an additional fee.
Will you serve a family-style dinner?
Yes, we have trained staff to service a family-style dinner for an additional fee.
Do you provide any linens?
Yes, we provide linen tablecloths and skirting for the buffet and beverage tables. We also will supply a cloth napkin for each guest when you purchase our china package. We do rent tablecloths for guests’ tables for an additional fee.
Will you cut and serve the cake/dessert?
Yes, we will provide disposable plates & forks, cut the cake, and plate it for you so the guests can help themselves for $0.50 per person. Our staff can serve the cake for an additional fee.
Do you charge for children?
Yes, if the child is old enough to occupy a seat, then it is customary to include the child in your guest count.
What do you do with the leftover food?
The leftover food on the buffet will be properly packaged, labeled, and refrigerated for you. We do not assume liability on the leftover food. For wedding receptions, we package a container especially for the bride & groom.
